Guitar strings music networks

The sounds produced by the vibration tritare result of one or several strings of networks each having the shape of an inverted Y. Microphones amplify the sounds produced by the strings networks, in the same way as an electric guitar. However, unlike the guitar, the sounds of tritare can be non-harmonic, that is to say compounds of sounds whose frequencies are multiples of a fundamental frequency. This property ensures that the tritare can produce sounds very similar to those of a guitar, or sounds that cannot be produced by a guitar, the sounds of certain bells, for example. Several prototypes have been manufactured. This instrument raises great interest among musicians.
